Because of the rising popularity of CBD, producers of CBD products are always looking for new and inventive vehicles for their customers to use their CBD oil. In addition to treating symptoms from the inside with tinctures and capsules, we at Care By Hemp have developed a hemp body lotion formula so that will benefit you both inside and out.
Our 500mg per serving hemp body lotion is made from USA Grade-A premium broad-spectrum CBD oil that is 100% organic, domestically grown and processed in our third-party laboratory, non-GMO, gluten-free, and vegan. In addition to CBD, our hemp body lotion contains CBG, CBDV, and several other beneficial cannabinoids. Our THC-free hemp body lotion combines premium botanical ingredients with an unscented, hypoallergenic formula to nourish the skin on the outside and the body on the inside. The inclusion of organic shea butter, sunflower seed oil, and aloe vera enrich the elasticity and softness of the skin, while providing key vitamins that protect the skin from damaging free radicals. CBD that is derived from hemp helps to eliminate inflammation that can lead to red spots, uneven skin tones, and blemishes.
All of this sounds really great, doesn’t it? It’s just understood that all of these things are good for you, but, have you ever stopped to think about what it all actually means? Allow us to offer some insight as to how great our hemp body lotion really is.
Hemp Body Lotion Benefits
One of the greatest benefits of our hemp body lotion is that if you have pain in a specific area, you can target that specific area. For example, if you’re experiencing shoulder pain, you can apply the hemp body lotion directly to the shoulder and the CBD will work its way into your shoulder and will work directly on that specific area. Other benefits of hemp body lotion are alleviating skin damage, preventing dried skin, acceleration of skin healing, and strengthening skin’s defense mechanisms. The hemp body lotion penetrates the pores and enters the blood stream to work its magic. In addition to the aforementioned pain that our hemp body lotion helps to treat, it can also assist in the treatment of psoriasis, acne, eczema, and wrinkles.
What It All Means
Broad-Spectrum CBD: The most common types of CBD oil are full-spectrum CBD and CBD isolate. CBD isolate is pure CBD. There are no traces of THC or plant matter such as terpenes, oils, waxes and chlorophyll. Full-spectrum CBD, on the other hand, contains all of the plant matter. Broad-spectrum CBD is essentially full-spectrum CBD without any THC. Broad-spectrum gives all of the benefits of full-spectrum without risking ingestion of any THC.
USA Grade – A: Perhaps the best way to explain food grade is to use meat as an example. The USDA rates meats into Grades A, B, and C. Grade-A products are of the highest quality that are fresh and are ready for human consumption. Grades B and C, on the other hand, are processed products with additives and preservatives that make it acceptable for human consumption.
100% Organic: According to the USDA Organic Labeling Standards, in order to be classified as 100% organic, the product need to contain 100% organic ingredients with no additives. Salt and water do not affect the 100% organic status, as they are naturally occurring elements.
Non-GMO: Meaning non-genetically modified. Genetically modified organisms are created in a laboratory using genetic modification and engineering, meaning that one or more genes from the DNA of the organism is removed and recombined into another, altering its DNA. Many environmental groups and scientists have cited several health risks as a result of products containing GMOs.
Gluten-free: Pretty much self-explanatory. Hemp CBD oil is naturally free of gluten, a protein found in wheat, rye and barley that helps foods keep their shape; essentially, the glue that holds food together. Gluten has been known to cause illness among people with celiac disease.
Vegan: Because CBD is a naturally occurring element of the hemp plant, it contains no animal products and is, therefore, naturally vegan.
Hypoallergenic: Hypoallergenic products are made to minimize and/or reduce the possibility of an allergic reaction by containing no substances that could potentially irritate the skin.
Shea Butter: Shea butter is beneficial to the skin for several reasons. Its natural vitamins and fatty acids nourish and moisturize the skin and helps the skin to retain its natural oils. She butter also acts as an anti-inflammatory making it beneficial to those with acne issues. Shea butter also helps in the natural production of collagen that strengthens and softens the skin and can potentially reduce wrinkles.
Sunflower Seed Oil: Sunflower seed oil contains vitamin E that acts as skin protectant from environmental stressors and helps to smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Sunflower seed oil is also a good source of beta-carotene and contains fatty acids that tighten and firm the skin.
Aloe Vera: If you’ve ever had a sunburn, you’ve probably turned to aloe vera for relief, but aloe vera does more than that. Aloe vera also moisturizes, relieves skin irritations, treats cold sores, and can slow the signs of aging by preventing and fading dark spots.
